About Me
Born and raised in Georgia, I attended Georgia State University and achieved my BFA in Drawing and Painting. I've always been interested in art from a young age and take inspiration from different varieties of work such as concept art, graphic novel illustration, and a lot of cartoon media. While the influences seem not as obviously present, I always look at color schemes, the idea of capturing tone or atmosphere, and creating shapes and forms. I have a deep interest in portraiture both in a conceptual form and a more realized form.
My Work
I have gone through a lot of iterations of my work interest, but one of my deepest and most consistent interests in art is portraiture. I have been exploring semi to full realism in regards to portraits, but also have been interested in deconstructing portraits and focusing more on feelings. I find that painting the human form through different approaches yields endless possibilities.
